Fungsi dan Mekanisme Kerja Cache CPU i3/ i5/ i7
Cache adalah ram dari core, yang berfungsi sebagai penampung daa sementara sebelum diolah oleh prosesor. cache terletak di dalam keping prosesor. semakin banyak cache, maka semakin cepat kerja prosesor.
CPU core i3/ i5/ i7 merupakan cpu yang memiliki cache yang sudah mencapai cache L3. Besar kapasitas dari chace intel core i3 sebesar 3.0 MB, core i5 sebesar 6.0 MB, dan core i7 sebesar 4.0MB, 6.0 MB, sampai 8.0 MB. Cache L1 merupakan cache yang paling dekat dengan core, dan kecepatannya sama dengan kecepatan core. cache L2 berkecepatan lebih rendah dari L1, fungsi dari cache L2 untuk menampung data dari L3. Cache L3 berfungsi mengakses data dari ram. Beberapa fitur yang teradapat pada prosesor core i3/ i5/ i7 adalah sebagai berikut :
